Orthopedics
Our surgeons specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Common orthopedic services offered:

•Hip, knee, and shoulder surgery and replacement
•Foot and ankle surgery
•Hand and wrist surgery
•Sports medicine
•Arthroscopic surgery
•Work or non work related injuries
•Fracture care

MRI Services:

We offer a 1.5 tesla Philips MRI scanner and a 0.2 tesla GE open extremity scanner. MRI scans are used to diagnose many kinds of conditions including orthopedic and rheumatologic conditions.


X-ray Services:
We have 2 digital radiography machines and one computerized radiography machines in house.


Outpatient Surgery:

Rheumatology:
Our rheumatologists deal with problems involving joints, soft tissues, certain autoimmune diseases, and the allied conditions of connective tissues. They medically treat diseases and disorders that affect the musculoskeletal system, this includes many autoimmune diseases.



Bone Densitometry:
To detect osteoporosis accurately, doctors use an enhanced form of x-ray technology called dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA). DXA bone densitometry is today's established standard for measuring bone mineral density (BMD). DXA is a quick, painless procedure for measuring bone loss.



Bone density is used most often to diagnose low bone mass due to osteoporosis. However, this technology can be applied to other orthopedic and rheumatologic conditions.



Infusion Therapy:
OSMS provides infusion services (intravenous therapy) for a variety of medical conditions related to arthritis and osteoporosis. Our experienced and caring staff provide this service under the direct supervision of a physician in a comfortable atmosphere.



Lab Services:
OSMS has in house lab services and medical lab technicians for your convenience.
