Panhandle Power Olympic Weightlifting Club

Panhandle Power is a community based Olympic-Weightlifting Club in Amarillo, Texas.
Since it's inception in 2006, PPOWC has been highly competitive with lifters winning at both the State and National levels.

PPOWC lifters compete in USA Weightlifting sanctioned meets at the local, state, and national levels. In 2013, 2014,2015, 2016, and 2017 the club had lifters, Miller Brock and Marcos Bribesca, selected to compete for Team USA at the International level. Lifters generally compete in 4-6 meet a year. Currently, PPOWC has lifters competing for the club from Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas, and Denver, Colorado. The club has lifters training from age 9 to 38!
