Patrouille Canadienne de ski Edmundston - Canadian ski patrol Edmundston

Les membres de la patrouille de ski d'Edmundston font partie de la Patrouille Canadienne de Ski (www.opcs.ca).

Annuellement, tous les patrouilleurs doivent être formés selon les standards nationaux établis par la Patrouille Canadienne de Ski. La formation comprend un cours de premiers soins de soixante heures. De plus, chaque patrouilleur doit suivre une formation en réanimation cardio-respiratoire, en administration d’oxygène médical et l'utilisation d'une défibrillateur externe automatique.

Durant l'été, la patrouille offre des services de premier soins pour évènements!

Au-delà de 25 bénévoles patrouillent les pentes du Mont-Farlagne sur une base régulière.

The patrollers of the Edmundston ski patrol are members of the Canadian Ski Patrol (www.csps.ca).

Each year, all patrollers must be certified within the national guidelines established by the CSP. The course includes 60 hours of first aid skills and scenarios. Also, each patroller has to follow a cardio-pulmonary resuscitation course including the use of medical oxygen and external automatic defribrillator.

During the summer, the patrol offers first aid services at all sorts of events!

More than 25 volunteers are on hand and ready to patrol the Mont-Farlagne ski hill.
