Paxton Conservation Commission

The Conservation Commission meets monthly at the John Bauer Senior Center (AKA the White Building -- 17 West Street) and devotes a great deal of time to ensuring compliance of local projects with the Wetlands Protection Act. The Commission receives and acts on requests for Determination of Applicablity, Notices of Intent and Certificate of Compliances.

The Commission assesses the applicality of the Wetlands Protection Act to particular projects, to verify wetland delineations, to check for wetland violations and to monitor projects for compliance.
