Inside Plaza 131 In Oakdale. All clases are appropriate for all levels as all are encouraged to pursue their own edge with optional modifications as well as variations for multi level practitioners. Focus is on balance, posture, strength, flexibility, deep breathing and relaxation.
Our Friday morning flow is a progressive blend of vinyasa flow sequences and Hatha still poses with a different focus each week. The pace is often a little faster and we move progressively thru sequences adding optional variations. "Wring me out Wednesdays" held at 6:30pm during winter months only and is an intermediate class practiced at a high temperature to maximize cleansing benefits & flexibility.
2016 Summer kids yoga classes will bean announced in the spring. This playful class will guide children thru a creative yoga experience, combining yoga poses with art projects, story time, games, props and music. Ages 5 and up. We also explore breathing and relaxation techniques. Non-competitive and fun, students will work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, concentration and self confidence. The gift of yoga gives children the tools to approach the world with an active imagination and the power of intention.
