Perry County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2010 census, the population was 36,058. Its county seat is New Lexington. Founded on March 1, 1818, from parts of Fairfield, Washington and Muskingum counties, it was the 55th county to be formed in Ohio.
