Peter Pan Donut and Pastry Shop's history is steeped in legend. Today, it is owned by the Christos and Donna. Its history prior to that can best be found through the customers you'll find at the counter during the day who have been going for decades beyond the Siafakas' ownership. However,for over thirty-five years, Christos and Donna have devoted their lives to making a high quality item at a low price, going beyond running the business for simply financial reasons, but working due to a passion they have for their product and serving their community. Peter Siafakas, their youngest son, now works under the tutelage of Christos, the head baker, and works with him closely, tinkering with recipes and inventing new ones when they can. Donna Siafakas can be found every morning until the afternoon, managing the store as well as cooking in the kitchen. Together with the help of the superb waitresses and hard-working bakers, Peter Pan Donut and Pastry Shop exists as a community staple more than an establishment. One of the last remaining relics of Greenpoint that existed before its recent changes, while still thriving because of traditional, yet forward thinking business practices that foster a personal intimacy at the Donutshop. For many it is a home away from home, and we hope you can find it the same. Thank you.
