Phoebe Allentown provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation and personal care, along with independent living apartments.

Skilled Nursing
The Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center offers 395 skilled and intermediate care nursing beds and provides long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, respite care (depending on bed availability) and hospice care.

Short-Term Rehab
Phoebe Allentown’s short-term rehab program is set apart from others by the compassionate and attentive care provided by our staff. Phoebe Allentown offers two dedicated short-term rehab gyms and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Phoebe’s goal-focused short-term rehab neighborhoods and medical rehab management teams provide essential care for patients recovering from a variety of medical conditions.

Personal Care
The David A. Miller Personal Care Community offers various levels of assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and taking medications. Meals are provided in our spacious dining area overlooking the City of Allentown. Both single and double rooms are available and each has a private bath. Our residents enjoy access to medical and rehabilitative services and a variety of recreational and social activities.

Independent Living
Our independent living community, The Terrace at Phoebe Allentown, offers spacious apartments perfect for today’s active, independent adults looking for worry-free living. Terrace residents have opportunities to participate in planned social activities and can take advantage of the services and amenities of our Health Care Center.

Senior Affordable Housing Apartments
Allentown’s Phoebe Apartments offer safe, secure, affordable housing for active seniors. All residents must meet federal income guidelines.

Geriatric Care Management
Phoebe’s Geriatric Care Management Program allows for Phoebe’s specialized care in the comfort of a person’s home. Geriatric Care Managers can determine the needs of the client through a comprehensive assessment process and establish a plan of care based on the client’s strengths, personal values, interests, current environment and resources.

Memory Support Services
Phoebe Allentown has two specialized Memory Support neighborhoods, Bridgeways and Legacy Place, both of which care for 51 residents in the mid-stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Extensive Montessori programming is provided daily to engage residents’ strengths and interests in an environment that is designed for their successes. Staff are selected and trained to work on these neighborhoods with the residents to maximize each individual’s abilities in all aspects of care.

Parkinson's Telemedicine Program
Through Phoebe Allentown’s award winning Telemedicine Program, Phoebe residents have access to the Associate Chief of Lehigh Neurology for virtual, confidential appointments. The use of a patient exam camera, two-way audio, and high definition video equipment enables the neurologist to virtually participate in a physical exam, order prescriptions, and arrange for tests if needed.
