Piccolo Theatre, Inc. (PTI) is 501c3 non-profit organization that cultivates shared experiences with dynamic artistic and theatrical programming events based in the comedic arts. Located in South Evanston, PTI produces Custer Fair (est.1972), the Northshore’s largest and oldest arts fair; and the Piccolo Theatre Ensemble (est. 2001), producing a four-show season of comedic works. As a nonprofit, it is supported almost entirely by donations from private individuals, and operates with two staff members and seasonal volunteers and independent contractors
