Pittsfield High School Orchestra has been a visible and active partner in the local community. Many students have been selected for key positions in the Western District Music Festival, Longy School of Music Orchestra, Kids 4 Harmony, Stockbridge Sinfonia, and many more. Many members participate in chamber music groups, comprised from PHS orchestra players.

Our most notable performance was in the spring of 2016 at The National Orchestra Cup. Performing at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center and placing as first runner up will forever be in our memories.
