Placid Lakes Country Club

For the ardent golfer traveling through our beautiful Highlands County, we offer an 18 hole Championship Course that has been featured on the Golf Channel in the reality series show "Highway 18".

we have a 10,000 square foot practice putting green, driving range and a chipping green.

Our large undulating greens feature ultradwarf grass called "Tifeagle". The layout of the course has many risk reward shots and can be very enjoyable for all types of golfers.

The golf course is home to a variety of Florida wildlife. Alligators, sandhill cranes, otters, ducks, birds and occasionally a bald eagle and black bear can be seen.
