PLUNGE Youth Ministry

Our ministry serves students in 7th through 12th grade. It is our desire that we join our church’s mission of “Knowing, Growing, and Showing the Love of Christ” by immersing ourselves in that love.

We meet at Christ Community EFC on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30pm for a time of devotion, fun, and fellowship and Sunday mornings at 9:15 am for Sunday School.

There is a scriptural thread that weaves through our ministry both past, present and future. Our past scripture verse was 1 Timothy 4:12(English Standard Version), which said, ”Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” However, as Paul continues to encourage Timothy he reveal what our ministry is striving for, “Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. We are taking the steps to do that and would love for you to join us.
