The racial makeup of the town was 83.92% White, 15.11% Black or African American and 0.96% Asian. 0.64% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.There were 124 households out of which 36.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.8% were married couples living together, 18.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.4% were non-families. 18.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 2.81.
