More about Provo Pioneer Village

To visit the museum during the off-season, please contact us at provopioneervillagesup@gmail.com.
The Provo Pioneer Village contains the original structures built by the first pioneers in the area. The residential section contains two family cabins, a well and outhouse, a granary, a corncrib, and a loafing shed; additionally, the village includes blacksmith, cooper, and tanner shops, a woodshop, a general store, and a schoolhouse. The Village offers free admission and is friendly toward all ages- children may learn and play pioneer games and make a pioneer toy, and all are welcome to enjoy this wide variety of rare structures, artifacts, and tools. The Village has regular hours from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day (Mon 5-8, Tues-Fri 4-7, Sat 10-4); for the rest of the year, the Village is open by appointment only.
