Pure Salt Therapy sessions are designed to improve clients’ overall wellness and quality of life. Salt therapy is a natural way to help people with chronic respiratory and skin ailments, certain pains or daily discomfort, and anxiety. Pure Salt Therapy is located in a medical spa facility supervised by Dr. Mark McBath.

Dr. Mark McBath, our co-owner, co-founder, and resident board-certified physician, is a renowned general surgeon and surgical oncologist. He is the sitting Chief of Surgery at Park Plaza Hospital. In his glory days, Dr. McBath was the first-string quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, and his belief that a holistic approach complements overall health and wellness stems largely from his athletic career. He believes in the benefits of salt therapy, including but not limited to alleviating respiratory and dermatological conditions.

Our treatment room walls and floors are designed with Himalayan salt blocks and rocks rich in minerals with therapeutic properties. This creates a negative ion microclimate that is restorative, relaxing, and bacteria-free. A specially designed, quiet, and controlled halogenerator disperses microscopic particles of pharmaceutical grade 99.9% salt into the room during each session, allowing therapeutic salt to enter your pores and respiratory tract.
