Radiology Associates, P.A., (RAPA) provides patients in Arkansas with a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, coupled highly skilled physicians trained in virtually all radiological disciplines. Available treatment technologies include x-ray, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic ultrasound.
At the Arkansas Vein Center we offer a full range of treatment for superficial venous insufficiency along with cosmetic therapies for spider veins. Our vascular technologist and physicians may initially perform a venous ultrasound and mapping to diagnose the level of vein disease. If we diagnose superficial venous insufficiency, insurance will typically pay for treatment, which may include VNUS Closure, endovenous laser ablation, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy injections. These methods are proven effective. They are minimally invasive, utilizing local anesthetic, with little or no discomfort and a low risk of complication.
