Ragtag Rescue

Ragtag Rescue Mobile Adoption Services is a non-profit, volunteer organization focusing on animal welfare, adoption and humane education. Ragtag services and supports animal shelters and foster based rescue groups.

East Texas shelters have no choice but to euthanize 75~80%. We are concentrating in Henderson, Van Zandt, Smith and surrounding counties.

Ragtag’s 7 x 18 ft. trailer can transport up to 22 animals from your shelter or rescue, directly to and from an adoption event site (no more crates!). A less stressed animal is more likely to be adopted. Our trailer is also available for short term lease to shelters and rescue groups.
