A Vintage Market / flea market style with 7 private rooms that were originally built in 1952 by the late Walton Hardin Sr, Ken's father. A motel was different from a Hotel in that you can "MOTOR" your car right up to your door and a hotel originally was said to have a middle hallway with the entrance to your room from there. Red Land got its name just as it says, from the red lands in Wilkes County, it was built on the corner of the Lincolnton Highway and the Augusta Highway, but with the bypass being built and a new intersection we are now located in a more quiet area, still on a major thoroughfare to Lincolnton and on to S.C.
The Vintage Market comes from an idea to not let the original building just sit, why not let it help bring shoppers to Washington to plunder in small shops, Vintage finds is what we are hoping with re purpose items, flea market finds and just that right thing you been looking for. Washington boast of its History and Antique shops There really is no place for a flea market so we will offer spots at $10.00 a Saturday and I will be advertising on face book and The Country Register which is distributed all over the state of Georgia.
