Our Mission
We exist to make disciples who make disciples to God’s glory and the good of the city.

Our Vision
That every neighborhood in Beaumont, TX would be served by a Missional Community. We do this through gospel-centered worship, community, and mission.

Our Values
-Gospel-Centered: At the center of everything we do is the Gospel. The message that although we were separated from God in our sin, because of Jesus’ work on the cross we now stand holy before God while waiting on his return when he will make all things new.

-Worship: Because of Jesus we have reason to celebrate. At our weekly gatherings we meet as the church rather than at the church. We gather together to make much of Jesus through the singing of songs, preaching of the word, audacious generosity, and partaking in the sacraments.

-Community: In his sacrifice, Jesus made us right with God and with one another. We overlap our lives for the purpose of encouraging, loving, supporting, teaching, guiding and correcting one another with the Gospel.

-Mission: Just as Jesus came to us, we must go to others to tell them about the Gospel so that they might believe. We do this together as his people, in community, and on mission.

Why Missional Communities?
We know it can be challenging and sometimes awkward to visit a church for the first time, and we are aware that many people have been hurt, or are hesitant on attending a church event.

We believe that Missional Communities (MC’s) is the best gathering method for us as a local church. This way we are able to reach more people through different avenues in life: worship, our Sunday gatherings, community, our midweek gatherings that meet across the city, and mission, our social justice initiatives.

What Is A Missional Community?
Our MC’s are a family of believers that make up Redemption Church, which aim to love one another and serve their city. It is a gospel-centered community that lives out the message and mission of God together, in a specific area, to a specific people.

Are Missional Communities The Same As A Small Group?
The short answer? No. In the past, a small group has been more like an event to attend rather than a family to serve alongside. A MC is not a small group, (even though they range between six to twenty people) a Bible study, (even though we do study the Bible, a lot!) a class, or a club. A MC seeks to display the Gospel in real ways to the city on a regular basis.

As our MC’s grow, we continue to multiply across the city spreading the Gospel into every neighborhood.
