Who Are We?

Samantha Merkle, aka "Bobcat" - http://www.facebook.com/samanthatattoo You can find me on Instagram @smolderesque I am the owner, tattoo artist and piercer. I apprenticed under Bogos Direduryan at Seahorse Tattoo and Piercing in Mannheim, Germany from 2004-2005. I have worked for various tattoo studios in Germany, Turkey and in Michigan. I enjoy tattooing a wide range of styles and lately I've really been enjoying abstract and decorative imagery. I do predominantly custom work. Some of my favorite pieces are nature related, memorial, abstract animals and "dark" black and gray imagery. Birds, big beautiful roses and skulls are my favorite things to tattoo. I am also the sole piercer of the shop. I do most standard and intimate piercings on both men and women. I'm always interested in working with my clients to help them achieve the look they are trying to achieve.

The Shop!

We are a fully licensed and professional-only shop. All of us keep up with annual training to keep ourselves, and most importantly, YOU, safe. We regularly attend industry-specific events and conventions to keep up to date on training and new products.

Obviously, we provide high quality custom tattooing and piercings at an affordable rate. Our shop minimum is $50, and we charge $120/hour.

On top of that we offer the largest selection of body piercings that you'll find in the area, with a wide variety of sizes and styles. Need plugs? We got 'em - check out the shop photo album! We have implant-grade surgical steel, titanium, wood, bone, stone, acrylic and bio-plast jewelry. We can order you anything you can't find in the shop. In our lobby, we also offer a selection of handmade fashion, screen printed tshirts, belts and belt buckles.

We swear by H2Ocean aftercare products. We always have piercing aftercare spray and tattoo aftercare ointment, soaps, and lotions to help the healing process progress successfully.

Gift Certificates are available in any amount, all year long.

Minor clients are welcome with accompanying parents, but we ask that you leave your little ones with a sitter, as this is not an environment appropriate for children, nor is a crying baby productive for the working artists. In other words, no babies, no children, no exceptions.

Due to the continuous problems we have encountered, we no longer allow cap-less drinks or food in the shop. No animals of any kind. Shoes required, shirts are optional. Only one person is allowed to accompany a client into a work room during a tattoo or piercing. We are CASH ONLY.
