Restoration Church

Elder Andre J Crittenden, Senior Pastor of The Restoration Church, Chicago, Illinois, is a national gospel recording artist, praise and worship leader, noted worship and training facilitator and beloved Shepherd of a movement moving quickly across Chicago-land area.

This anointed servant of God received the mandate to start a church in December of 2012. After much prayer and communion with the Father, Elder Crittenden accepted by saying, “Yes Lord” and received the name for our beloved Zion: “Rest-oration Church; the Resurrection Center of Chicago.”

On May 22nd, in Matteson, Illinois, the church held its first bible study. From May until August 2013 Elder Crittenden continued to teach and train his growing congregation on how to correctly rebuild the temple of God. This training time thus birth the Mission: “To Rebuild; To Restore; To Replenish; To Refine and To Renew the Mindset of Damaged Believers,” Ezra 3:2-7. It is the belief of Rest-oration that the temple is the dwelling place of God. We must be forever careful of how we treat the House of God and forever mindful not to offer up meaningless worship.

By studying the word of God and through the demonstration of the Holy Ghost and fire, it is our belief that lives will be transformed. Ephesians 6:10-11 states: “10 A final words: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” Therefore, equipping the believer must be priority; and bringing glory to God must be our passion.

The ministry has been effective since its first service on August 25, 2013 solely because Pastor Andre teaches the congregants to Listen to God and obey his voice. No exceptions! The Restoration Church family is anointed and is now sought after, shifting atmospheres around the country. We are training other churches on how to offer authentic praise and worship, about the power of intercessory prayer, how to effectively develop Christian youth ministries, helping church administrations strategically plan, and to lead spiritually in the area of violence prevention (allies and the peace of God).
