Our History
The Richmond High School Alumni Association (RHSAA) is the third oldest in the nation. We began in 1871 with a dinner for the second graduating class. Over the years the association came and went. In 1995, the association established a permanent office.
Scholarships
The RHSAA scholarship program began in 1995. Since 2000, the association has provided more than $500,000 in scholarships. Interest from donations is awarded annually.
Our Location
Where else? Our office is in historic Richmond High School. We walk the same halls that you did and the same halls that students use today. This gives us a presence to the current staff and student body.
Donations
We exist 100% on donations. Our membership contributions fund our office, pay the director, and print our magazine. All additional donations go to funding scholarships.
Our Magazine
The association produces three issues of our magazine The Register each year. We send it to all members. The magazine is unique and unmatched by other high schools.
Our Connections
We maintain a database of over 38,000 alumni. Constant work maintains this to have current information for class reunions and association mailings.
