William Rieber, Sr. moved his family to Sullivan County in 1961 to manage the Sullivan County Savings and Loan Association in Monticello. Bill continued with the bank through several mergers eventually covering operations in 3 States as staff appraiser. He left the bank and started Rieber Realty, a full service Real Estate Company in 1970 at 390 Broadway in Monticello where we remain today.
Rieber Realty is currently owned and operated by William Rieber, Jr. and Karen Rieber Sussman, brother and sister who essentially grew up in the business. Our family owned and operated the Credit Bureau of Monticello and a large mortgage and insurance premium finance company. We have created many hundreds of subdivided lots in 6 New York Counties. Simultaneously we have professionally handled both the seller and buyer side of residential sales for over 40 years. We also have a substantial list of commercial and residential sales and leases under our belt. We at Rieber Realty, Inc. are a full service Real Estate Company. We belong to the Sullivan County Board of Realtors Multiple Listing Service and the Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service. We cooperate with all Realtors and our staff can show you any listing in the MLS. We have over forty years of hands on experience in all aspects of Real Estate.
