River to Ridge Run Walk

Register today for the 22nd annual River to Ridge Run Walk benefiting WisCorps!

THE EVENT
The River to Ridge 5 Mile route is engulfed in nature’s beauty! The trek starts at the Mississippi River in Riverside Park, winds through the La Crosse River Marsh trails, and leads to a lush, green view of the Mississippi River Valley from Hixon Forest’s bluff top.

There will be awards for top finishers and a grill out celebration with live music! Participants receive a commemorative wooden medallion and River to Ridge 2017 t-shirt (shirts and sizes guaranteed if you register BEFORE May 8th)!

River to Ridge benefits WisCorps. WisCorps is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides a valuable service to Wisconsin’s citizens and environment. Since WisCorps’ founding in 2009, Crew Leaders have mentored young adults while working over 42,000 hours in environmental restoration, growing produce for food pantries, basic home repairs for the elderly and people with disabilities, graffiti removal from parks and natural areas, and disaster relief. Corps Members gain valuable life and employment skills that will help them become active members of their communities, as well as future leaders in the Wisconsin workforce!
