River Yoga Classes
Traditional Hatha - These classes will offer traditional yoga poses such as Sun Salutations and Warrior II. Instructors will verbally guide practitioners in an evolving series of poses. The practice will begin with calming the mind and focused breathing. The body will be opened and strengthened in a steady pace to prepare for the pinnacle posture. Attention will be given to alignment, balance, flexibility, and strength.
Vinyasa - Vinyasa classes move at a faster pace while working in traditional postures. Practitioners will systematically work their way to vinyasa flows. Each movement in the flow is connected to the breath. Look for more challenging variations of postures in a vinyasa class.
Yoga Fusion - This class is perfect for the practitioner looking for a fast paced class and contemporary music. Yoga postures are linked through a high energy atmosphere. This class will feature strength, flexibility, and cardio. Yoga fusion classes will get your heart rate pumping.
All of our classes are one hour in length. At the closing of each class, the instructor will offer an extended Savasana. Practitioners will be invited to stay on their mats and enjoy the calm. As practitioners are ready, they will quietly leave the studio space.
