Music is an important part of life and learning to play an instrument can provide a lifetime of enjoyment. All students start by learning to play their instrument through observation, repetition, and learning songs they themselves choose. Only after they are comfortable with their instrument and able to play a few songs do they begin to learn to read music. Students also learn proper care and maintenance of their instruments. Costs include all music and the ability to borrow music books or instruments.

Weekly lessons of 45 minutes each are required for students over 10 years of age-cost $75. Students 7-9 have the option of 1/2 hour lessons which depends on the individual-cost $60.

Rentals: Every student should start out with an instrument with quality sound. However, the lack of knowledge and cost of a new or used instrument can be daunting. This is why I offer affordable instrument rentals from $10 or $15.

Supplies: Roberta’s Studio keeps on hand a few basic supplies available for purchase. These include strings, metronomes, stands straps, picks, and tuners. I am also able to order other musical supplies.
