Robo Dojo

Robo Dojo has a passion for seeing that light in the eyes of our students when they solve a problem or learn something new and exciting. We promote a highly collaborative STEAM based learning system with just the right amount of competition to drive our students need for success.

We see education as more of a two way mentorship. For this reason we borrow our student belt ranking system and much of our teaching methods from the martial arts community. Our students rise up through the belt ranks as they learn new skills, accept challenges and take on new responsibility. One responsibility we encourage each student to take on is that of mentor to another student. By promoting intra-student mentorship, we provide a means by which our students can both build their inner voice and develop leadership skills.

But our full time students are just a part of what we do at Robo Dojo. We also promote robotics and STEAM based learning through our summer camps, day camps, after school programs, pre-school classes, and public robotics presentations and by engaging with the local Maker community.

From introductory robot kits to designing and 3D printing their own robot parts, Robo Dojo is an exciting place for young learners of all ages. Let’s make some robots!
