Studio RAD

StudioRAD is a working visual & fine arts studio located in Rochester's South Wedge neighborhood.

We are comprised of four gifted resident artists, each bringing a diverse range of form and technique: oil and acrylic painting, chalk and charcoal drawing, sculpting and pottery, digital photography and graphic design, and much more.

Founded on the premise of community-mindedness, we strive to encourage and inspire the artist that lives within us all, sharing our passion and appreciation for the beneficial effects of the visual arts in our lives through all its forms, and creating colorful change essential to our surrounding Rochester communities.

We offer workshops, drawing sessions, private instruction and mentoring, art appreciation events, art exhibit hosting, consignment space, paint parties, and commissioned works of art.

Our resident artists enjoy personalized work space in an open environment, fostering a supportive and collaborative creative spirit while working on their individual art forms. We welcome the contribution from other area artists through workshop and event participation, as well as speaking engagements. The studio is open to all students of the Visual Arts, from novice to master.

Studio RAD endorses the community initiatives of The Pillar, The Venue at The Pillar, and The Wedge Market, all located at 46 Mt. Hope Ave, 14620.
