Rogue Mountain Fitness is a whole body (body/spirit/mind) training program. The program flows from month to month, following our natural circadian rhythms. These circuits are a different kind of Bootcamp. Each one builds mental, physical, and spiritual momentum for the next. You will train for 1-3 hours per day (depending on your individual goals), 4-5 days per week. Throw in a day for rejuvenation and recovery, and one for fun, and and you will be left with a system that will put you on the path to transforming you into your most natural, awesome self possible!

Philosophy
Every living organism has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, which enable the species to survive. Human being are no exception. Although we aren’t as fast as a cat, as strong as an ox, able to hold our breath under water for long, or fly, we have some unique animalistic attributes…Attributes which put us at the top of the food chain. For example:
We have the capacity to run any land animal into the ground. It’s our most ancient hunting technique (still used by some native tribes today)
We have the capacity to adapt (on a holistic level: mind, body, spirit) to every environment on the planet. Our bodies adapt. Our relationship to the environment adapts. Our minds adapt.
We innovate! We continuously and naturally strive to make things better.

As a participant in the Rogue Mountain Fitness program you will transform all aspects of your body through these training methods;


Natural State Fitness- Our bodies are capable of astounding things, aren’t they? We can run ultra-marathons of 100+ miles (energy from food only lasting 15-20 est). We can lift a car when someone is trapped. We can crawl tens of miles with broken legs. We can fight bears with our bare hands. We can climb nearly anything. We can move like jungle cats. One hour at a time, we work our bodies back toward our potential. Our training follows the circadian rhythms. The focus, workouts, and intentions change monthly. This way, our bodies are constantly in a state of peak awareness, and Flow.



Zero-Point Nutrition- Like our ancestors, our diet is a game of calories. For each one of us there is a balance, or Zero-Point, of calories in and calories out. From there, the relationship building and healing can happen. Zero-Point Nutrition uses your trainings’ natural momentum, in-line with the circadian (monthly changes) rhythms to keep your diet in constant, yet simple and natural adjustment. You’ve heard the fitness term, “muscle- confusion”? Think of it that way, only holistic and natural nutrition.

Over the thousands, or millions of years that we humans have been on this Earth, there has been millions of people working in this field. The Sixth Day: Rejuvenation
This day is all about medicine. In order to remain balanced, we have to take the time to take care of ourselves. If we don’t, we get sick. Our bodies will force us too. Often, there will be a craving building over the course of the week. This is the day to indulge it. Herbal teas and baths, messages, candles, music, romance, playing with the kids…today is about healing from the week.

Barefoot Training:
Strengthens the stabilizing muscles of the foot and ankle
Increases balance
Heightens awareness (both internally and externally)

Stimulates Reflexology points
Works on curing foot issues (ie, Athlete’s Foot, bunions, corns, ingrown nails, etc.)
30% of our joints are in the feet. They all become stronger.

Gloveless Training:
Stronger stabilizing muscles (cuffs) around wrists, elbows, and shoulders

How does class flow:
Bootcamp classes are 60 minutes.
Example:
10 minute warm-up
15 minute High Intensity
15 minute Flow and Flexibility
10 minute High Intensity Fight
10 minute Cool-down


Bootcamp Times and Focuses: Note: All classes have high intensity and low intensity elements
Monday- Thursday
AM 7:00- 8:00 Functional Conditioning, Cardio (Total body, High intesity stregth, calorie, and fat burn)

Mid 12:30- 13:30 Functional Strength, Fight (Funtional strength, stamina, high intensity, warrior fitness)

PM 5:30- 6:30 Functional Conditioning, Recovery (medium to high intensity, total body, warrior)

Friday in the Mountain: 10:00 – 12noon (Personal exploration in nature. Weekly natural assesment to monitor progress.)
