Root of Life begin as a small idea, with a group of college students. The idea was simple, to provide the community with the finest, most freshest, fruits and vegetables available to them.
What begin as a experiment turned out to be a complete success. Initially, the menu only contained three items, soon we found ourselves experimenting with seasonal fruits and vegetables and soon our menu grew to over 12 items. Because we only juice whats in season our menu is always changing. Experimentation has been our secret tool, they say the best recipes happened by accident.
Through the years, this idea has grown in the heart of local residents. See, we believe that by educating ourselves, and the community we can create a more suitable environment for future generations to Follow. As a result Root of Life currently operates in 3 local Farmers Markets: Downey, Huntington Park, and South Gate.
