Rossland Mountain Market Society

We are a small group of local volunteers whose mission is to celebrate fresh, quality, local food and handmade goods, and to create an enjoyable atmosphere that not only serves our vendors, artists and musicians, but also contributes to a prosperous downtown and promotes a sense of community.

Our belief is that local food and local business is the future, and our market supports sustainable agriculture, and contributes to our local food system and our local economy. We're building a sense of community by connecting the public with local farmers, artists and musicians during our weekly celebrations.

Running every Thursday, 3:00-6:00 pm, from the beginning of June until the beginning of October. Our vendors come from all around the Kootenays - many from right here in Rossland! - and we are proud to host a growing number of local farmers who bring with them the freshest, most delicious produce you've ever seen! You can't beat good quality food, from people you know and trust. We are also excited to host a diverse and ever-changing lot of local artists - candles, clothing, yarn, jewelry, pottery, art of all shapes, sizes and kinds - we strive to bring you a wonderful choice of handmade goods, because handmade is the logical way to go! Our market welcomes musicians from all over the Kootenays - each week we have live acoustic music, and this year we'll have monthly special events that you won't want to miss. Nothing beats a beautiful sunny day and some great live music to groove to!
