RSEA is a non profit society which is administered and managed by a volunteer board of directors.
RSEA is a non-profit society formed to support the delivery of environmental projects in Rossland and the surrounding area.
1. To support environmental initiatives that foster healthy communities within Rossland and the surrounding area,
2. To encourage innovative and collaborative approaches to environmental sustainability within Rossland and the surrounding area, and
3. To support food and water issues and projects that impact or benefit Rossland's environment and the surrounding area
Although based in Rossland, RSEA's vision is to serve the whole Lower Columbia Region.
The founding members have been involved in many environmental initiatives including Streamkeepers, Rossland REAL Food, the Rossland Community Garden, the Sustainability Commission, Invasive Plant and Wetland Restoration Initiatives and the list goes on.
RSEA has developed a comprehensive set of policies and procedures to guide the organization in an efficient and fair manner to all that work with RSEA.
