Hello Round Valley! The Community Garden at Yuki Trails is a space for all those who live in the area to come garden, learn, share, eat, work and play together. All seeds and plants are provided, space is free, and our Americorps VISTA (Fresh Food Advocate) Julia Healy is there Monday through Friday, 9:30 to 5:30 and sometimes on weekends to help and support you in your garden plot! We've got all the tools, materials, plants, and support you need.
The Round Valley Food Pantry is a once monthly event which takes place at the Library Commons Community Room, between the Coffee Shop and the Library. It is open to anyone who needs a little extra food for the month.
We are currently working on gathering resources and developing a TEAM! A group of volunteers working to grow and harvest food for the food pantry in the Food Pantry Garden, at Yuki Trails, and to harvest food from local supporters such as the Sustainable Seed Company, and local gardeners who wish to donate.
