The Salvadoran-American Chamber of Commerce of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, is a nonprofit organization created to represent, organize, and develop Salvadoran-American enterprises and business leaders. SACOC serves to empower and amplify the important contribution that this businesses community provides to the economy of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.
There are more than 4,000 Salvadoran-American owned business enterprises in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. With nearly three million Salvadoran immigrants living permanently in the United States, this community has developed a prominent presence in today’s American society.
The Salvadoran-American Chamber of the Commerce of Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area encourages unification and community development in order to better and advance the general welfare of the Salvadoran business community. SACOC encourages Salvadoran entrepreneurs to play an active and constructive role in the economic progress within the American society.
SACOC’s primary goal is to foster opportunities that highlight mutual collaboration with small, medium, and large enterprises from El Salvador and Latin America. In addition, SACOC will strive to develop better business connections and expand economic progress in the United States as well as beyond its borders.
