I always wanted consistency for Santa photos when my kids were younger but it wouldn't last more than two or three years. I also always wanted a home town Santa. Ten years ago we realized we should be the hometown Santa and began with our first, amazing hosts, Brett & Brenda Habenicht at Java! Java! Coffee in Four Corners Square. We were there for six years, two of which were after it became City Perk. Our seventh year was in the DoIt Center which was a very fun place to be but sadly, a car ran through Quintessence the following year just before Christmas, so they couldn't fit us in. That is when we found our current hosts, Cheryl & Ken Dunham at DaVine in upper Wilderness Village, below the Tahoma fitness center. We were thrilled to be back in a warm and cozy coffee shop setting and were so lucky to have found a built in elf named Tori! This will be our 10th year in Maple Valley and our 3rd year at DaVine.
Sure, we could make a lot more money by doing mall photos but that is not what we are about. I produce studio quality photos and take all of the time it takes to get the best photo possible. I am honored to work with Santa and he is all about the children and their love of the magic. We rush no one and are happy to have a special place where our guests can enjoy good coffee, hot cocoa, food, and a lovely gift shop while they wait. We have kept our prices low as well.
Santa will be at DaVine each Saturday from 11 AM to 5PM and Sunday from noon to 5PM (except Dec 15th when we will close at 3PM for a private event) from Thanksgiving weekend until the weekend before Christmas. We look forward to seeing you there.
