Save Pizmo Grammar School - Pismo Beach

Originally built in 1923, with additional rooms and the auditorium added before 1931. It was filled beyond capacity in 1952, using wooden classrooms around the brick school and had classes in the auditorium, including one on the stage. Closed in November 1952 due to an earthquake. Bought by the city in 1953. Used as Pismo Beach City Hall until February 1995. Resolution to demolish signed November 2011, but not yet finalized. Our architects say it is still a solid structure.
