Second String Music is a locally-owned music store serving musicians and music fans in Quincy, Illinois and the surrounding communities.

We are dealers for the following in each category:

We carry a full line of School Band Instruments to rent, Music Books and Accessories.

Four Free private lessons at Vancil Performing Arts Music Department come with every instrument rented or purchased from our store.

We have two "in-house" guitar teachers - Jim Bier and Rodney Hart. They give guitar lesson to students of all levels of expertise.

We also repair, restring, rewire all guitars and amplifiers.
