Shapiro Steelfest is presented by Shapiro Metal Supply. This once a year one of a kind event draws Rat Rod, Hot Rod and Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country for a day like no other. Since its conception 3 years ago Steelfest has grown by massive proportions and is one of the most talked about events in St Louis among car and motorcycle cultures alike.
It is the annual starting point of the growing media sensation Rat.Hard! The Great American Blue Collar Build-Off. Rat Rod and home Motorcycle builders from all over the country compete in a 30 day, $3000 budget build-off and debut their builds at Steelfest before embarking on the drive-off portion of the competition.
