Sharon D. Minott, MD, acquired her doctor of medicine degree in 1993 at The University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed a one-year transitional internship in the Department of Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, followed by her anesthesiology residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI, and her pain management fellowship conducted also at the University of Michigan Medical Center (1997-1998). Dr. Minott is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology and in pain medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Minott’s professional society memberships include the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. She is the recipient of multiple Top Doctor Awards from Hour Magazine (2011-2013), a Patients’ Choice Award (2011) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2011).
