SIMC Summer Instrumental Music Camp

The Summer Instrumental Music Program for vocal, wind, string and percussion students, entering grades 5 through 9 will be held from June 26th to July 14th, 2017 (July 3rd and 4th will be off due to Independence Day). The camp hours will be from 8:15AM to 12:15PM Monday through Friday.
The summer program faculty members, Cami Tedoldi,Bobby Glynn, Donny Albro, Kirsten Shetler, Ted Hagarty, Brian Raymond and Tara Anderson are looking forward to working with your children in their pursuit of becoming better musicians. These adults will be assisted by outstanding college and high school musicians who will serve as camp counselors.
It is our goal for all participants to receive a positive musical experience in a variety of group performance areas including: Concert Band, String Orchestra, Choral Ensembles, Small Group Sections, Chamber Music Ensembles, Instrumental Technique, Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Band. Students may choose one of two tracks for the camp: Instrumental or Choral (selected during the registration process).
In order to provide a well-balanced camp experience, the daily schedule will include recreational activities such as: kickball, capture the flag, Frisbee, volleyball, spirit days and a scavenger hunt.
Parents will be responsible for transporting students to and from the instrumental music program. Snacks are available for purchase during break time. The cost of registration for this camp starts at $190.00, this fee includes a Camp T-shirt for each participant.
Family members are invited to attend a concert to be held at 10:00AM on the last day of camp in the Ahern Auditorium.

Tuition:
3 Weeks- $255.00 per student
2 Weeks- $220.00 per student
1 Week- $190.00 per student
