The Village went on air in June 2002 thanks to Robert Aubry Davis and help from Tom Paxton among others. We are a 24/7 commercial free folk channel on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. We play 100 years of folk music, broadcasting over the US and Canada. You can listen online at www.siriusxm.com at channel 741 in the USA, on saetllite in Canada and you can enjoy The Village Folk Show, a hosted folk show every Sunday 6-10 AM ET and 8-12 midnight PT on ch 32, The Bridge and On Demand. Bob Dylan, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Arlo Guthrie, Gordon Lightfoot and Pete Seeger are just some of the artist played on The Village. Mary Sue Twohy is the Program Director of the channel.
