Skipper's Seafood and Chowder House started it's seafood legacy in Bellevue, Wa. in 1969. In July 2007 D and Dee Enterprises purchased The Dalles Skippers. The new owners, Doug and Dorothy Waters have 30 plus years of experience working in the Skipper's restaurant chain.
