Skyline Stables features affordable boarding, riding lessons and guided trail rides for the non-competitive rider. We understand that not everyone prefers a show barn. We help you take care of your horse providing them with daily care and green pastures to keep them healthy and happy. We focus on quality care for your horses and a relaxed, enjoyable environment for our riders.

We are one of a few facilities still offering hourly guided trail rides in the New River Valley. Breath taking trails take you from mountain-top pasture down to the New River. Our riding lessons for English or Western disciplines are given by experienced horsewomen, with no yelling or stressful interaction. Our goal is to create better horsemen/women as well as competent, confident riders.

Self care pasture board starts at $150/month. Boarders enjoy our full size indoor arena for bad weather riding, a convenient outdoor arena, a new round pen planned for spring 2013 and over 500 acres of scenic trails over mountaintop pasture, through dense woodlands, leading right down to the New River.

Our friendly and relaxed atmosphere and wonderful clientele will welcome you and your horse. New boarders quickly feel at home and part of “the family”. There is always someone to hit the trails with. We grow our own quality mix of alfalfa and timothy and alfalfa and orchard grass right here on the farm. On-site owners Matt & JB oversee the daily care of your horse.

We are conveniently located 1.5 miles from Radford University and 15 miles from Virginia Tech. Only 4 miles from Interstate 81, and 12 minutes from Christiansburg.
