SMEG Family Mental Health is a family owned mental health practice created by the husband and wife team of Richard Wilson and Jamie Rogers. Our business was created with the patients comfort taken into consideration. It is obviously apparent when you walk into our office how unique our approach to mental health is. You will not walk into another medical practice like ours. All of our customers are greeted when they walk through the door from someone sitting at a desk, not the cold feel of the sliding glass partition, and offered a bottled water. Mental health problems can be challenging in their own right so we try to make our customers comfortable and have SMEG be a place they want to come back to.

Dr. Jamie Rogers, PhD, PMHNP-BC. Dr. Rogers has over twenty years of mental health care experience. She earned her PhD and two Masters Degrees from the UNC School of Nursing. Her areas of specialty include but are not limited to:

Lisa Coffman (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), MA, MSW, LCSW. She is a licensed clinical social worker who also holds a masters degree in psychology with over 20 years of experience in her field. Her areas of specialty are:

*end-of-life concerns
*situational depression
*parental coping skills
*recovery from a variety of traumas
-including a history of sexual abuse
