I really hope you enjoy the antics that my family and I get up to and maybe just maybe pick up a few pointers or helpful little tips that you can use out in the great outdoors.


I guess you can call me a Aussie version of the great southern REDNECK, which I suppose would be a Cocky, a Jackaroo , a Rouseabout, Bushman or maybe just a good old Bogan, I'll let you decide.

A little about me ... Well as you might have figured I am Australian born with Aboriginal bloodline,I grew up on the outskirts of Sydney in a rural dairy town getting into trouble like a typical boy. Hunting rabbits and wild goats and fishing in the local rivers I started honing the skills passed down to me from my Grandfather and Father.
After finishing school I Fell into a cooking apprenticeship and did my 4 years training to become a qualified chef. Unfortunately this was not what my heart wanted and I longed for something more adventuress...So like a lot of young lads do I joined the Army.
The Army allowed me to enhance my outdoor skills and gave me the survival training I so desired.
After (CLASSIFIED) years in the service I moved to Far North Queensland where I bounced around jobs ranging from Hunting wild boar, driving Crocodile tour boats and even back to cooking. Nothing seemed to quench my needs ,wants or my passions.
So you may be asking how I have ended up here In the good old US of A .... short answer LOVE.. yeah I know this is a outdoor page and the girlie mushy stuff should be left next to the hair products but hey gotta put in how I ended up here.
So anyway I am here living with my BEAUTIFUL wife and kids in the Mountains of North Carolina. Our goal as a family is to live as close to the land as possible in today's society. We hunt, fish and farm as much as we can and try to keep our bodies as clean from chemicals and other man made additives that we so commonly find in our food and water and other products we come in contact with everyday.
