Southside Beekeepers Association

Southside Beekeepers Association meets every fourth Thursday at 6pm at the Emporia/Greensville Extension Office, 105 Oak Street, Emporia, VA 23847.

The objectives of this organization is to provide a forum for the exchange of information, ideas and views of mutual interest to beekeepers; provide education on the practical aspects of beekeeping and to encourage the use of better and more productive methods; foster cooperation between members of the Association; promote understanding and cooperation between the Association and the community with regard to beekeeping; promote interests of the Association membership with relate to bees and beekeeping; to promote the use of honey, honey products, and other hive products.
