Dr. Manika Girdhar is a board certified pediatrician, and she is board certified in allergy, asthma, and immunology for both adults and children. She attended Hinsdale Central High School and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She graduated from Midwestern University Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. She then completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City, Missouri in June 2014.

Dr. Manika Girdhar’s areas of expertise include food and drug allergies, asthma, allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis, eczema, rashes, and a variety of other allergic and/or immunologic conditions. Her most recent manuscript was published in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology discussing the role and effect of omega-3 fatty acids in pregnancy and the development of atopic disease. During her free time, Dr. Manika Girdhar enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
