St. Joseph National Day of Prayer, Inc.

Since 1952, the United States Congress has recognized the power of prayer, and declared the first Thursday in May as “National Day of Prayer” to encourage citizens to pray.

As mayor, I truly believe greater things are in store for the City of St. Joseph, Missouri. In order to make wise decisions on fulfilling our community’s potential, I trust in the power of prayer.

I invite you to join me, along with fellow citizens, business and community leaders and key State Representatives, to celebrate the National Day of Prayer at the “Mayor’s National Day of Prayer Breakfast,” Thursday, the beginning of May, at the St. Joseph Civic Arena.

About the Mayor’s National Day of Prayer Committee:
