Incorporated in 1990, the Stanly Health Foundation supports CHS Stanly in its efforts to adopt clinical innovations, elevate the quality of care for patients, and provide funding for hospital-led outreach efforts in our community.
Through the years, the Foundation has granted over $7 million to Stanly Regional Medical Center and Stanly Health Services - now CHS Stanly - in support of dozens of programs and projects that have improved and continue to improve the lives of people in our community. The grants have been used to tackle important community health issues such as stroke, cancer, childhood obesity, indigent care, child abuse, women's health, diabetes, and mental health.
The Foundation also offers annual scholarships to students who are pursuing careers in health care.
