Dunlo Volunteer Fire Company, Adams Township Volunteer Station 1, has been proudly serving the citizens of Adams Township since 1932. DVFC responds to about 75 alarms per year.The primary coverage area is comprised of The Village of Dunlo, Elton& Salix.There are approximately 30 members comprised of active members, junior firefighters (14-15 & 16-17) and second alarm members.

There are many ways to serve the Ebensburg community and the Dauntless Fire Company. All help is greatly appreciated and always needed.

Active Members - After serving one year of probation and obtaining the required training, the duties of these personnel include: Interior Firefighting, Vehicle Rescue, Hazardous Material Responses, Wildland Firefighting, and handle many other types of emergency responses.

Second Alarm Members This is a highly talented group of members that do not wish to handle emergency responses, but still have a great interest in helping the community. These members come from various backgrounds, and provide many important qualities needed for the day to day operations of the fire department.
